CHAHO YUTOHA (Hasegawa Co., Ltd., the operator, hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recognizes that the appropriate use and protection of information which can identify specific individuals (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information") such as names, addresses, and e-mail addresses in the course of mail order sales is a social responsibility of the Company, therefore the Company implements the following measures.

The Company will acquire Personal Information only to the extent necessary after informing you of the purpose of use and Company’s contact point.

Unless otherwise required by law, the Company will not disclose or provide Personal Information to third parties other than subcontractors and business partners without your consent.


  1. Handling Sensitive Personal Information

The Company will not collect sensitive personal information (race, creed, social status, medical history, criminal record, facts of being harmed by a crime, or other information that requires special consideration in order to prevent unjust discrimination, prejudice, or other disadvantages to the person), except with the prior consent of the person concerned or in accordance with laws and ordinances, etc.

The Company will appropriately manage the Personal Information entrusted by the contractor in the consignment contract and use it within the scope of the contract.

The Company appoints a chief administrator, and continuously educates and enlightens employees to enhance company-wide Personal Information protection activities.

The Company endeavors to keep and manage Personal Information in an accurate and up-to-date condition, and takes security control measures to prevent unauthorized access to, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of Personal Information. In the event of an accident should it occur, the Company will deal with it promptly and appropriately, and will take its utmost efforts to rectify the situation, including preventing the recurrence of such accidents.


  1. Contractor Management

When outsourcing Personal Information handling, the Company will contract with contractors to ensure proper management of Personal Information to prevent leakage or re-provision of Personal Information.


  1. Disclosure of Personal Information

The Company will respond to requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, etc., of Personal Information, as well as complaints and consultations, as soon as practicable, upon receiving a request at Company’s contact point.

 

  1. Legal Compliance

The Company shall comply with laws and regulations, national policies, and other norms regarding the handling of Personal Information in handling Personal Information.


  1. Personal Information Protection Management System Continuous Improvement

The Company will continuously improve its Personal Information protection management system by reviewing it in light of information technology developments, social demands, and other changes.
