100% Single origin tea, grown in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture.
An uncommon variety of tea, ground and finished in a stone mill. This tea is known for its elegant flavor, mellow aroma and lingering aftertaste.

A single-origin tea made from 100% "Asahi," the highest grade of tea and the first yield of spring, handpicked and crafted at the Hasegawa Ei Seichajyo.

This rare variety of tea has a limited cultivation area and a limited harvest. The handpicked leaves are stored and matured until autumn. When the flavor has deepened and the aroma has become more intense, the leaves are taken from storage and ground in a stone mill.

The 6th generation tea farm owner carefully assesses the climate and soil of the year to bring out the best in the tea leaves and create a yearly masterpiece.

Like wine that differs from year to year, this tea has a unique and elegant flavor, a mellow aroma, and a delicious lingering aftertaste.

Available in two sizes: 10g (Tato-paper pack) and 20g (box).

The new spring buds are picked carefully and meticulously just once a year.

In our naturally cultivated tea fields, our tea pickers carefully pick the nutritious, tender new spring buds, one leaf at a time, just once a year. Working closely with the tea plants, which change every year, we make the most of the power of the buds, then grind them in a stone mill to make matcha.
Enjoy the gentle, refined flavor that captures the richness of nature and the climate of Uji, Kyoto.

Greetings from the creator

As a tencha farming family in Uji, Kyoto, we have been committed to continue traditional cultivation methods for future generations. We carefully nurture hand-picked tea leaves like we care for our own children. Many people work by their hand and hard throughout the year until our tea leaves get to you. We hope that our tea, made with heart and soul day by day, will serve as a reward for yourself or a gift for a loved one, enriching your daily life and helping to create wonderful connections.
